Teresa Gray
Director, Cornerstone Preschool
Mrs. Teresa and her husband, Dennis, live in Rockwell, NC where they raised their 3 adult children - Patrick, Joshua, & Alyssa - and their dog, Millie. She's the Director of Cornerstone Preschool, as well as the Family Ministry Leader at Grace Church Concord. Her professional experience spans 35 years in Public Education and Christian Ministry. It all began in 1991 as a middle and high school teacher in Mt Pleasant, NC. Over the course of her career in public schools, she had the privilege of working with students K-12th grade, teaching and being an administrator. In the classroom, she taught English and Latin. In addition, she was a Principal Intern and Assistant Principal in Kannapolis City Schools and an Assistant Principal, Curriculum Coordinator, and Principal in Cabarrus County Schools. It was over 19 years ago when Mrs. Teresa was called into full-time ministry in the church where she was raised. She spent 17 years as the Family Ministries Leader at Epworth UMC, Directing The Flock Preschool and the Children and Family Ministries. In March of 2023, she was called by God to another mission, to assist Him in beginning a Global Methodist Church in Concord. In addition to helping plant a new church, He also desired for her to focus more on the non-profit that she and her husband found and direct, Project Education Honduras, Inc. Through her entire life, Mrs. Teresa has sought to fully rely on God for His purpose and His plan for all things. Her sole purpose in life is to glorify God in all she does, and she truly believes that she "can do all things through Christ who gives [her] strength!" (Philippians 4:13). It is with great joy that she said, "Yes!" to God's calling to assist Grace Church Concord in beginning Cornerstone Preschool. Each day brings with it many blessings, and she is humbled that God chose her to be a part of teaching children about His love for them. It is to Him that she gives all the glory and honor, and it is Him that she will continue to look to in order to continue leading and guiding Cornerstone.
