Mission
The Mission of Grace Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly and witness boldly. Our mission at Cornerstone Preschool is the same!
We do this by connecting with your children and building relationships using Jesus Christ as our example and his Word as our guide; growing your children physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually while looking to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for guidance; and serving alongside you as we create an atmosphere that shows and teaches children what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and proclaims Jesus Christ as our Cornerstone.

Instruction
Instruction at Cornerstone Preschool includes a focus on Early Literacy Skills, Early Math Skills; Science, Social Studies, Sign Lanugage for our littlest learners, Spanish for our older children, Social Skills, and of course, the Word of God. Teaching is developmentally appropriate and is a balanced approach, including both direct instruction and play-based learning. We use Letterland as our basis for teaching phonemic awareness, and Touch Math is used for teaching number recognition and number sense. A variety of hands-on and sensory resources are used to help each child learn and grow at his/her own pace. In addition, variety of teaching techniques and styles are used to meet the needs of each child. Our goal is that children will have so much fun while in our care that they will LOVE coming to preschool each day. At the same time, we will pour into them the love of Christ and skills that will help them be confident when they start their next journey in Kindergarten.
