About Cornerstone
Our Story
In February of 2023, a group of faithful Christians met to plant a new church in Concord, NC. One of the first goals of Grace Church of Concord was to launch a new Christ-centered preschool that would provide Godly care and education to young children of the community. A beautiful partnership began with River Rock at Odell, and students started class in August of that same year.
We are delighted to offer a nurturing and engaging preschool ministry for children in our community. We believe that every child is a precious gift, and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and flourish.
Our preschool ministry is designed to foster a love for learning and exploration while nurturing the social, emotional, and spiritual development of each child. We believe in a holistic approach to education, where children are encouraged to develop their unique strengths and talents.
Grace Church & River Rock at Odell
Grace Church of Concord, A Global Methodist Community, in partnership with River Rock at Odell (6320 Davidson Hwy, Concord), is committed to providing safe, quality care to each of the children who attend Cornerstone Preschool. Our partnership is one that has been brought together by God. We will honor Him in all that we do, and we will hold each other accountable to following God's plan and vision for Cornerstone Preschool.
Truly, it is a blessing that River Rock at Odell has opened their doors and said, “Come! You are welcome!" The leaders and congregation of both churches have also committed to praying for Cornerstone Preschool and being active in supporting its ministry.

Mrs. Teresa has worked in education for over 15 years. She and her husband live in Rockwell, NC where they raised their 3 children - Patrick, Josh, & Alyssa. She's the director of Cornerstone Preschool as well as the Family Ministry Leader for Grace Church Concord.
