Sarah Howell

Hi, I’m Sarah Howell, and I’m a Teaching Assistant in the 1-year-olds classroom. I’ve had the joy of working with children for over 20 years, and there’s nothing quite like seeing the love of Jesus shine through them as they grow and learn each day.

My lifelong relationship with Christ deeply shapes the way I teach. I’ve been active in church throughout my life, and now I serve on staff at Grace Church Concord as the youth director. I truly believe that this work is a calling from God, and each day I aim to love every child with patience, prayer, and grace—helping them feel safe, seen, and cherished.

Here at Cornerstone, I’m excited to partner with parents in nurturing each child’s emotional, social, and spiritual growth. It’s a joy to walk alongside them in these important early years.

I married my wonderful husband in 2024, and we’re prayerfully trusting God as we hope to grow our family in His timing. We enjoy traveling, playing games, spending time with loved ones, and worshipping together. Our dog, Roxie, is also a big part of our family—and a total sweetheart!

In my free time, I love crafting, baking, solving puzzles, lounging in my hammock, and diving into true crime stories. One of my greatest passions is encouraging children in their own walk with Jesus, especially through my favorite verse, 1 Timothy 4:12:

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

It’s truly a blessing to help little hearts grow in God’s love, and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful things this year will bring for the children in my care.
