Ashleigh Davis

My name is Ashleigh Davis and I am so happy to be a lead teacher in one of the 3 year classes this year. I have been working professionally with preschoolers for seven years now but have worked with young children in my church since I was a teenager. I have my Early Childhood Education degree from RCCC and am now pursuing my Birth-Kindergarten teaching degree at Western Carolina University. You can say I was born to be a teacher, since my mom has taught for over thirty years and as a preschooler I started playing classroom and being a teacher.

My dad is a pastor, so I grew up in church. I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord when I was in the fifth grade. I love learning more about Jesus and how to follow him through Bible study and prayer. I enjoy serving Him through my church by teaching the children, being involved in outreach projects and missions and by running the computer during the worship service.

Outside of church, class, and preschool, I love shopping and traveling. I love going to the beach, historical places and my favorite place to go is Disney World. I have participated in beauty pageants and I am now Miss ECR Grand Royalty for North Carolina.
