Discover Cornerstone Preschool

Cornerstone Preschool is a ministry of Grace Church Concord, a Global Methodist Community, in partnership with Rock at Odell.  River Rock opened their doors in May of 2023 for Grace Church to rent the classrooms where we are teaching and allow us to use the playgrounds, sanctuary, and other areas at special times.  River Rock is also committed to faithfully praying for the ministry of Cornerstone Preschool and they have liasons that are a part of the preschool board.  We are so grateful for this partnership and how God has used it to further build His Kingdom!  Mrs. Teresa Gray, the Family Ministry Leader at Grace Church. is the Director of Cornerstone Preschool and Mrs. Lisa Goertzen, a member of Grace Church, is the Assistant Director of Cornerstone, as well as a teacher.  Because of our strong beliefs in the importance of developing the spirituality of a child, our curriculum, in addition to a strong academic focus, also includes teaching children bible stories, as well as helping them to memorize bible verses.  Our basis for instruction is The Beginner’s Bible published by Zondervan.  Our instruction of Bible Stories is “hands-on” and interactive.  Our goal is to introduce your child to stories and people of the Old and New Testament, and through the various people, teach them about the incredible love our Heavenly Father has for each of us. It is our prayer that we, in partnership with you, will build a strong spiritual foundation as your child continues to grow and learn about his/her Maker and His purpose for their life.
